Description: Summary : Applies specific coding to patient medical records as defined by specific regulatory and corporate procedures and processes. Must use independent judgment requiring discretion in preparation of correspondence and directives. Qualifications: Minimum Requirements : Education: Associate Degree in Health Information Management/RHIT Licensure/ Certifications: CCS or eligible Experience: 3 years acute care coding experience preferred Physical Requirements : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
