Job Description Monitors and maintains the necessary properties and processing characteristics of his/her compounds, conducts evaluations of new products and/or processes, troubleshoots production problems, analyzes processing data, works either individually or as part of a team to implement process improvements to improve quality, increase efficiencies, and reduce scrap. This particular position also interacts with some outside raw material vendors. Job Responsibilities Ability to draw conclusions from data, ability to work well with others, including process employees, technicians, supervisors, foreman, other chemists, and department managers. Good communication skills, supervisory experience is strongly recommended. Must be familiar with ISO 9001/TS 16949 quality standards. Will need to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Access and the other office programs.
