Responsible for providing and/or coordinating delivery of HR support functions across assigned client groups. Proactively seeks to leverage human capital via support of L&D efforts, employee development, administration of the performance management system, and assuring appropriate staffing utilization. Conducts disparity analysis, prepares Affirmative Action Plans and drafts pre-arbitration briefs. Participates in contract negotiations and provides daily administration / interpretation of the collective bargaining agreement. Ensures legal compliance with all applicable State and Federal employment laws. Works to resolve grievances/issues at the lowest level and strives to maintain positive labor / management relations. Serves as a facilitator to business unit teams and provides intervention as needed. Oversees employee awards, benefit, and incentive and recognition programs. Conducts investigations and prepares documentation in response to agency charges.
