TIMESUNION.COM JOBS DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY SERVICES BERKSHIRE MEDICAL CENTER, a 302 bed, national award-winning community teaching hospital and Planetree Affiliate, is located in the beautiful Berkshires of Western MA. Our pharmacy department is currently nearing the end of a 7 million dollar automated medication dispensing system/pharmacy renovation project utilizing the Omnicell Mediguard system. We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the position of Director of Pharmacy Services. The ideal candidate will have a background and experience that includes: Hospital experience leading a Pharmacy Services Department, including budget management, staff development and accountability for a smooth transition to new systems. Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with management, nursing departments, staff, patients and families. Experience in developing standards and work methods to assure quality and appropriateness of patient care provided by the Pharmacy Department.
