JOB SUMMARY : The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for delivering budgeted sales and profit growth objectives in the Eastern Pennsylvania market through direct leadership and supervision of the Account Managers. The ASM will prepare and perform sales reports, sales campaigns, account reviews, AR reviews, and maintain Airgas policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Lead, supervise, manage, motivate and train account managers to achieve the highest sales performance as well as productivity and safety standards. Meet at a minimum monthly with each account managers to assist in territory planning, goal setting, implementations and monthly SE reviews Review and improve sales and profitability on each account managers assigned territory through account acquisition, product sales strategy and sales campaigns Perform annual reviews for the Account Managers Lead professional development of the account manager team Perform joint sales calls to monitor and provide feedback.
