The Objective of this Hardware store is to develop a reputation for quality products and excellent service. The Store Manager will be responsible for building this reputation from Day One. Background Requirements: 5+ years of retail experience Experience in supervision of employees Computer skills POS Merchandising Financial analysis and reporting skills Hardware Store experience and in-depth knowledge about hardware products Ability to safely lift/move medium to large items as needed (up to 50 lbs.) Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of a retail hardware store including merchandising, purchasing, inventory management Maintain all departments including counter sales, stocking, warehousing, shipping and receiving
